A process driven body of work, these wool feltings are being created from experiences in nature, specifically starting with photographs and sketches. Wet felting and needle felting are employed, along with machine stitching and embroidery.

Photography is my “genetic” art love (thanks Grandpa.) It’s what I always start with and go back to. These works fuse the photos I take with the beautiful process of embroidery to create wonderful textures for both the eyes and hand.
